What a crazy crazy F1 Weekend! Congratulations to Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel for winning his first ever Singapore Grand Prix! While the German speed monster won the race in style with an astonishing 61 laps lead, the event was not short of drama mamas. Lewis Hamilton clashed with Felipe Massa, and former legend Michael Schumacher was forced an early retirement after his Mercedes flipped following a freak collision with Sergio Perez’s car. Despite the ups and downs, the competition was a huge success and The Butter Factory was packed with F1 fanss after the race! We had fun watching the sublime view from One Fullerton, we hope you did too!
Now that September is drawing to an end, we’re getting ready for October, when all good things gonna happen! Before we brace ourselves to witness a terrifying and knee-jerking Hallowedding ceremony at The Butter Factory this Halloween, we are pleased to announce that sizzling, hot dancers from Taiwan and Japan will be busting a move and grooooving it down at Singtel Presents: Booty Call and My Japanese Affair respectively!
Over at Fash, MisMatch is back to counter pink mainstream nights with a more intimate underground variant. Everybody who’s tired of heteronormative party routine is welcome, too. Following which, You Say Party We Say Rave reiterates its niche expertise in techno, electro, nu-rave, house, drum & bass and break beats to dubstep. For all you rave, techno, house junkies, this the dance floor not to be missed! F1 may have ended, but keep your party engines going, because October is gonna be a helluva month!
As we bid one final farewell to the BSK who has faithfully cared and loved the blog over the past two years, we welcome the old butter boy (myself) back on board The Butter Factory crew.
My story is simple: Old butter boy who worked at the old butter factory@Robertson Quay as part time floor and bartender, then joining them in the office after completing his higher education.

Very inspiring documentary. Pass The Bucket is a series by Vans and this installation features ex professional BMX rider and three time US Gold Medalist Stephen Murray.
In the midst of doing a double back flip, Stephen Murray crashed while competing in the BMX Dirt Finals at the Dew Actions Sports Tour, in Baltimore, Maryland. It was quoted as being “one of the worst crashes seen in BMX” and one that would ultimately be career ending for this incredibly talented, 27 year old athlete.
Stephen Murray is now fully paralyzed but continues to bring hope to many others around him.
