17 March 2012–THE DAY WHEN FASHION STOPPED TRAFFIC.
Fashion Steps Out 2012 has got to be the most groundbreaking event that has happened in the year thus far. For those of you who haven’t heard, Orchard Road was closed and transformed into a fashion runway, celebrating the designs of Vivienne Westwood, DSqaured, Rose Bullet, Mary Grachvogel, Paul & Joe, Robinsons, Just Cavalli, iCB, J.Press and Dip Drops.
My personal favorite was definitely Rose Bullet for the extremely adorable get-up and the clever mix of pastel colored coordinates.
After a few clinging of glasses, The Butter Factory Marketing Team headed back to our home ground at One Fullerton for The Darknight & ButterFLY Shots Shots Shots Special.

FINALLY! Our new batch of DETENTION Cards have arrived! If you haven’t already noticed, we have revamped the DETENTION Cards this new semester for a sleeker & chic look!

If you haven’t already heard, our favorite Indie Rock band, Death Cab for Cutie will be in town this coming Wednesday, the 7th of March 2012.
We expect Fort Canning Park to be packed with Death Cab fans, screaming to the tunes of some of their hit songs like “I will follow you into the dark” and “Soul Meets Body.”

The Butter Factory launches its brand new DJ Crew – AOS, helmed by its 3 main resident DJs Andrew T, Dave Does & Stanley. The AOS DJs are rock stars on the decks, guaranteed to get feet shuffling and fists pumping, whilst looking sharp doing it.
Expect a night of music mayhem as the AOS DJs dish out tunes that will range from R&B, Hip hop, Pop, Electro and Mashups.
Catch performances by Guest MCs N’fa (Australia), Dandee (Thailand), GoldMountain (Hong Kong), and go-go dancers.

It was the launch of The Butter Factory’s new weekly Thursday night called GAJA!
We flew in the Performance Directors of SM Entertainment Beat Burger from Korea – which made K-pop fans go ballistic! It’s amazing how they even memorised all the choreography to the songs!
K-pop is reigning the world, soon the universe. I kid you not.
